On the first days of 2008 I discovered the NaNoWriMo challenge on Wordpress and decided to give it a try for the first time ever. :) I felt that, if I could write something decent under pressure I could try writing something more serious and maybe finally write a novel as I've always dreamed of doing.

I wrote and wrote a lot and, on November 24th, 2008, I reached the 50k+ words goal. Then, on November 25th, 2008, I turned into one of the winners! ^o^ My "novel" (or, rather, "really long fanfic"), called "En un lugar de mi corazón", reached 51355 words and I became one of the official winners of this year! Yay!

Eventually, I finished writing the novel on December 16th, 2008, and started re-reading it and editing it so it would be 'perfect' before anyone could read it. Then, on January 13th, 2008, I finished editing it and uploaded it into my LJ, to share it with some trustworthy readers. :)

That's how my first experience with Nanowrimo ended.

On Nov. 2009, the Nanowrimo Challenge started again and, again, I decided to participate. This year, I'm working to write the sequel to "En un lugar de mi corazón", called "Cierra tus ojos".

On November 19th, at 5:05 am, I reached the 50k+ words goal and now I'm working towards finishing the novel. Probably, like last year, it won't be finished by the end of the month, but I'll try my best to end it as soon as possible. :) We'll see how far I can get!
